JAM RULES
Be Respectful:
Respect the music and other musicians of all abilities. Don’t try to show off and
remember that it’s more about socializing than performing.
Listen:
Listen to the other players and watch the leader. If you can’t hear someone, you’re
playing too loud.
TUNE UP!
Guitar players, I’m talking to you.
Time Restriction:
According to the turnout, each group jam will be limited to 15 minutes.
Take Turns:
Don’t hog the solo or play excessive amounts of choruses. Not everyone will get a
solo on every song.
Signal the end:
The person who starts the tune is also responsible for ending it. You can
signal the end by raising one foot or calling out "one more" or "last time"
Meet everyone:
Introduce yourself, bring your networking materials.
Jam Etiquette:
It is NEVER acceptable to demand that the your participants either slow
down, change keys, change tunes or styles because any of these don't suite you. We are
going to do our best to match you up with your skill level and favored genre.
We are all in this to have a great time and network with our community. We look
forward to hosting an incredible musical experience for you!
